Hello friends

This week is Spring Break at CU, which means, a very boring admissions office!  I am able to get all of my work done in like 3 hours and then I have the other 5 where I am trying to come up with projects and contacts to connenct with my students.  Thank the Lord that we have been doing interviews for another admissions position.  Working 40-50 hours a week in an office definately takes a lot out of you.  It is a way different world then the college dorm life....a good world, but a different one.  I love my job so much-I love the ability to come along teenagers and their families and counsel them in their higher education process...how God would give me some kind of voice into these kids lives just amazes me!

I have been thinking more about the Peace Core today.  Jim and I have toyed around with what it would look like if we were to commit two years of our lives overseas.  I don't want to be part of a mission organization, I want to be part of the Peace Core.  For a multied of reasons, it is an awesome organization that I could see Jim and I participating in within the next 7ish years.

When it rains it pours right?  Well pray for Jim and I as new and exciting possiblities have presented themselves this week.........where the road may lead????? I don't know, but it's an exciting journey knowing that someone for sure does!

Whelp friends...it's my time to go.....I'm jamin' out to my cd "SIA"....great indie artist!

Shalom-
Jes

Do you ever wake up from dreams you may have had and they just seem so real?  And then, does it take a hour or even half the day to realize that they aren't real?  Thats me right now....

Pray for Jim and I as we are going to visit the church tomorrow that he is interviewing at.  After his interview they asked us to come together so they could get to know us more.  Lord, may you intertwine your guidance in our life!

I don't think I like snow anymore.  The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to peek through our blinds to see what kind of day it is going to be....today is sunny!  I am thankful!

Friends......shalom!
